Pink Petiole™ — Buyer Guidelines
Please review before purchasing.
Pink Petiole™ offers rare and specialty plants from a private collection. All plants are healthy, well-grown, and shipped with care. Due to the nature of live plants, the following policies apply to all purchases.
Plant Condition
• All plants are inspected prior to shipping.
• Minor cosmetic imperfections may be present and are normal for live plants.
• Listing photos represent the exact plant unless otherwise stated.
• Variegation, coloration, and growth patterns may change over time and are not guaranteed.
• Color may vary slightly due to lighting, screen settings, or photography conditions.
Shipping
• Plants ship on the following Monday or Tuesday unless otherwise noted.
• Plants are packaged carefully with appropriate support and protection.
• Only 1–2 day shipping methods are used.
• Weather conditions and carrier delays are outside seller control.
• Shipping may be delayed or withheld if night temperatures are below freezing or if daytime temperatures exceed 90°F at the sending location, receiving location, or along the transit route.
• Heat or cold packs may be added at buyer request and are not guaranteed to prevent temperature-related damage.
• Buyers are encouraged to add shipping insurance for their plants.
• Buyers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information. Pink Petiole™ is not responsible for lost or delayed shipments due to incorrect or incomplete addresses.
• Claims for missing packages are the responsibility of the buyer and the carrier. Missing packages will not be replaced.
• Pink Petiole™ is not responsible for delays or losses caused by events outside seller control, including but not limited to natural disasters, carrier service disruptions, or government restrictions.
• Buyers assume inherent risks associated with shipping live plants, including weather exposure and transit handling.
Live Arrival Policy
• Live arrival is guaranteed.
• “Dead on arrival” refers to a plant that is completely nonviable upon delivery. Cosmetic damage, leaf loss, or transplant stress do not constitute dead on arrival.
• An unboxing video of the plant and packaging within two hours of delivery is required for any claim.
• Claims submitted outside this window cannot be honored.
Plant Care Responsibility
• Once delivered, plant care becomes the responsibility of the buyer.
• Transit stress is expected and may include leaf yellowing, cosmetic damage, or temporary decline.
• Acclimation stress may occur as plants adjust to new environments and is not grounds for claims.
• Pink Petiole™ makes no guarantees regarding future growth, variegation stability, or long-term performance.
• Pink Petiole™ is not responsible for outcomes resulting from resale, third-party handling, or redistribution.
Pests
• Plants are prophylactically, routinely treated for common pests.
• Beneficial insects may be used as part of an integrated pest management regimen.
• Plants will not be shipped with known active harmful pest infestations.
• Buyers are expected to quarantine all new plants for a minimum of 7–14 days before introducing them into their collection.
• Buyers are expected to be equipped to provide basic pest management if unexpected travelers are observed.
Returns & Refunds
• No returns are accepted on live plants.
• Replacement with a plant of similar value is the primary method of compensation for approved claims.
• Compensation method (replacement, partial refund, or store credit) is determined at seller discretion.
• Refunds are not issued for cosmetic damage, acclimation issues, or care-related decline.
• Chargebacks filed without prior contact will void eligibility for replacement or refund.
Cancellations
• Orders cannot be canceled once shipped.
• Cancellations prior to shipment may be subject to a processing fee.
• Pink Petiole™ reserves the right to cancel orders if buyer identity or payment cannot be verified.
Media & Intellectual Property
• All plant photos and listing images are the property of Pink Petiole™ and may not be reused, reposted, or redistributed without explicit written permission.
Acknowledgment
• By purchasing, buyers acknowledge they have reviewed and agree to these guidelines.
• All sales are subject to Palmstreet’s platform policies and dispute resolution procedures.
